As I was getting ice a huge black spider ran across the kitchen counter straight toward me and jumped down at my feet...I may have screamed. Loud. Have I ever mentioned how much I hate spiders!
Now on to more pleasant things.

I have been cutting scraps for over two weeks now and I feel like I haven't made a dent. I also had to stop for 3-4 days because my wrist and elbow were yelling loudly.
The big Home Goods bag is down to this...
Not sewing or cutting and not spending a lot of time on the computer allowed me to start and finish the most recent Robert Crais book.
Quilting on the long arm didn't bother my wrist so I finished quilting the candy wrapper quilt.
I've been working on odds and ends again - nothing very interesting. Let's download the pictures from my phone...in no particular order:
Very little sewing / quilting was done. I just wasn't motivated. I've had a very stern talk with myself, and we've agreed that an attitude change is needed. So, I'm late posting because I finally got the borders on the Wind Drift quilt tonight. Now I can change the thread on the Juki.
I did attempt to quilt the sunflower wall hanging.
I have a few almost dones.
Minimal (none) sewing occurred this past week. I did get quilt backs made (ironed the fabric) for the two sunflower wall hangings. I'm hoping to get both quilted this week.
JoAnne and I went to the Umpqua Valley quilt show in Roseburg on Friday. Small show but lots of vendors and great quilts. Here are some of my favorites.
What the hey? Blogger loaded the pictures in reverse order.
Bought a bag of scraps at the guild sale. This runner was in the bag.
Loved the quilting on this quilt
The quilter put a difference quilt design around each star.
Here's the whole quilt. I talked to her for a bit (can't believe I didn't get her name). The quilt was all paper pieced. It was my favorite at the show.
This was for Angela who loves blue. No, the picture is not blurry. For some reason that quilt hurt my eyes.
Thought the applique was so striking against the black background.
Really liked how the quilter carried the flower design into the snowball blocks.
Love scrappy quilts!
There were lots of cute minis and wall hangings.
Buttons!
I think I have this pattern. Nope, the quilter who made it also designed it.
So cheerful!
Loved the rickrack and button flange.
Whole quilt was very cute.
