Getting ready to work on a project can take almost as much time as actually working on the project. Today I ironed the flannel for a quilt back...

pin basted one quilt...

pin basted a second quilt...

and cut borders for the yellow sashed rectangles.

Now I get a cat on the quilt...

dark gray cat on a mostly white quilt, not a good thing.

They don't like to be left out of all the fun your having.
I think it's a rule or law or something. Cats on quilts in progress...each stage...is a requirement in my house. My vacuum is a sewing 'tool'

Just a little more prep work - removing the sleeping beauty....LOL
Sometimes I think PREP time takes more work than the SEWING time.
It's all TIME and I love it all....even the sleeping beauty.
Those are some pretty quilts you prepped. Cat naps are good, even for us!
