Nancy came over to sew yesterday and we both got a lot done. She had finishes, I didn't.
I got my Civil War blocks cut out and one partially sewn.

I got all the rows sewn and started sewing the rows together. I promise I will not show another picture of this quilt until it is finished.

Which I'm really hoping to do today. But I also need to run some errands, work in the yard a bit, and do some laundry. So we will have to wait and see how much progress I make.
Please note: there is no mention of football in my list of things to do.

I only watch the game for the commercials....it will be interesting to see how they deal with all the snow and people though.
Trying again, without spelling errors. I can't wait to see your finished quilt - love green and purple. There think I'm okay this time.
How fun to have a friend over to sew :) I hope you get lots done today! I still have a few things on my list, but I'm working on my Layer Cake Quilt Along blocks anyway! LOL!!
It's such a gorgeous day here on the west coast, I hope you are enjoying it and getting lots done. Your civil war blocks pics are a hint to something good :-)
I have not a smidgen of regret in saying that I have never watched the Superbowl, nor any other football game, for that matter!
Love your progress. Don't care how many times you show this quilt, either, I love it!
P.S. I am having a giveaway.
Quilting had to have been so much better that football!
Thanks for stopping by and leaving your nice comments. I really appreciate them. I hope you are having a good week. Lisa
