More Progress

I made lots of progress on Brooklyn's quilt yesterday.  Here you can see the "corner flowers" I mentioned the last time. I think it helps tone down the white a lot. I'm making the quilt smaller than originally planned. I'm a little worried about quilting it, if I make it as originally planned I will have to turn the quilt on the frame...I don't think I'm ready for that yet. It will still be around 60 x 70 inches.

Do you sew under these conditions?

He knows he is not helping because he won't make eye contact...won't budge either.

Once I moved his rear to the side a bit I did continue sewing.

Love how the star quilt came together. It's beautiful and I do like the corner flowers. Lovely assistant definitely wants his ideas known.

Wow! That looks awesome. Sneaky indeed if he won't look you in the eye.

Very pretty addition, Joy! I agree with the flowers taking up a lot of the visual weight of the white. It is a fine size for a kid. I don't have to sew under QUITE those conditions :)
