Still Making Progress

A new finish...it is already washed and ready to be donated.

Details: Pattern was a freebee from the Fat Quarter Shop. Fabrics are scraps from my scrap bins. The back is a gray flannel. The binding is also scrappy. Approximately 57" by 67". I quilted it with swirls - my quilting looked much better after it was washed. 😉 The quilt top was finished in January 2017; quilted and bound February 2018.

I'm doing a happy dance!! The medallion quilt has needed binding for almost six months...it is finally done.

And on the bed. I need to find or make some pillow cases or shams to match. I wish you could see this in person, Barb custom quilted it and did a wonderful job.

Details: 81 inches square. I designed it using a variety of fabrics mostly from my stash. The quilt top was finished in 2016, quilted by Barbara Rienert in 2017, and finally finished February 2018. The back is a cream 108" backing fabric that I had in my stash.

I also got all of the table toppers / minis / wall hangings pinned.

One is finished...it was a free pattern from Temecula Quilt Company. It measures 7 1/2 x 9 3/4 inches. Top made in April 2016; in the ditch quilting by me.

I think it looks great with my thread coffee mug.

Yay for progress! These look beautiful. Your Medallion quilt still amazes me it is so full of interest. Just lovely! And you are right, that thread mug looks inviting on that sweet mini. You are still on a roll :-)
