New Quilt Started

A friend of Nancy's gave her six charm square bundles of Andover fabric. Nancy shared three of the bundles with me...and issued a quilting challenge. Each of us is going to make a quilt using the fabrics (the bundles are all from one design line) and see what the other creates.

I am doing my favorite thing...chain piecing. I chose a quilt design which calls for 420 half square triangles. Unfortunately it also means my least favorite thing: squaring up (Yuck!).

Obba logic: If I can't see Mom, Mom see can't see me, so she won't make me move.

It looks kind of fun to be in the middle of a project like that. Can't wait to see the challenge results. Stitching lines and very comfy looking kitty :-)

I'm with you on squaring up. *Yawn* But ever since I bought myself a rotating mat it's a bit better to do this snore of a chore. Have fun!

It will be interesting to see what the two of you make...I always loved it when Alex Anderson did the challenges on Simply Quilts...
