Spring?

As promised, here is the table runner I made with the North Star civil war block and fabric that I decided not to use.
A while back Nancy gave me some cheater corner triangles she had. I've been using them as leaders and enders. Once I ran out of them it was time to make something out of them...

The half squares are one inch finished. The wall hanging is 14" square. I figured out there are 228 triangles in this little quilt. With so many seams, it is a little bulky.

I like how both of these turned out...but don't you think they look a little Fallish? Didn't we have to Spring ahead this morning? Hmmm, I think my internal calendar is a little off.

Both of these are pinned and ready for quilting along with these two table runners and this wall hanging. Quilting all of these should keep me out of trouble for a while.

Both are so pretty! I think the top one looks summery, not fallish, but definitely the second one is of the autumn mood :) Lots of work to keep you out of trouble, right?

I love them both! The border fabric for the table runner is beautiful :-) My internal clock is off at times too :-) I've been known to work on Christmas projects in April! But that just increases the possibility that I will be done by Christmas! LOL!! Your project could be fall, but I think you could have it out at any time of the year.

If you waited til Fall to make them, you might have never made them. Both are beautiful.
