I'm a Little Behind

Wish I could say I had a little behind but that is another story.

Even my pictures are little behind. Pam Buda's Market Day:

Easy, fun quilt. Picking out a border print was a bit of challenge but I think this will work.

Temecula Quilt Company's Summer Spools:

I don't applique so this should be interesting.

Quilt frame:

I've actually finished quilting this and machine sewn the binding on...haven't started the hand sewing yet.

Part of the reason I'm behind is I'm having my kitchen remodeled. Today is the first day. This is what it looked like at 7 a.m. this morning.

I'm replacing the countertops with a quartz, replacing all the appliances except the refrigerator, getting rid of the big box light and having recessed lighting installed, and having the cabinets refinished. I'll keep you posted on the progress.

Had to chuckle at the 'little behind' comment...amen to that one.

Looks like you have been so busy...I wish I had that much to post.

Your kitchen is pretty as is, so sure to be lovely anything you do.`

I can understand why you haven't had much sewing time with the remodel in progress. Have fun with it.

Yep, great choice for the border of this sweet quilt! Wish I could have sewn along but at least I saved the directions for a 'someday'. :-)
I've been knee deep cleaning and cleaning at my mom's house...that had been cleaned but never painted etc inside for 20 years. Thankfully we are almost to the part where the trades can take over...plumber,painter, flooring guy etc. I'm scrubbing out window tracks today. But I have sewn in the last few days so I feel good!
Can't wait to see your new kitchen.

Love the border for the Pam buda project. Pretty spools, lovely green quilt! We love our quartz countertops and recessed lighting. Hope it all goes smoothly!
